Rev. Martha Carlson's Installation

On September 10, 2017, we joyously celebrated the installation of our new pastor, Rev. Martha Pardee Carlson, as our new designated pastor. Rev. Carlson was called to be pastor of First Presbyterian Church and Bethlehem Presbyterian Church in a yoked relationship of our two churches. We welcomed Martha and her husband, Rev. Edd Carlson, to minister to the needs of our churches on July 1, 2017. Her weekly messages during Worship are inspirational and instructional for living out our faith as Christians. Her enthusiastic participation in the life of our faith community has  been heartwarming and has truly demonstrated that God's purpose for us has been affirmed. We welcome all to come and enjoy praising and giving thanks to our Lord for his wondrous love and amazing grace!

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2017

The theme for this year's VBS was ROCKIN' RAINFOREST. Our campers learned about God through daily Bible lessons, music, snacks, crafts and games.  Each day began with our No Strings Attached Puppets working with Pastor Martha in a skit centered around the Bible point of the day. The week ended with a show for the parents and relatives of our campers. A wonderful time was had by all!

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY

Prayer shawls are blessed with prayers in the making and in the gifting. Recipients of these shawls are those in need of comfort during an illness or grieving from the loss of a loved one. We pray that God's love, healing and comfort will be felt by the recipient when the shawl is worn. A prayer shawl may also be gifted in celebration of marriage , birth or graduation  where God's blessings are bestowed in love.
